Me and my rock.
Nobody talks.
It's just me and my rock.
The wind blows, I breathe in.
Just me and my rock.
Once, twice - on the pavement
Paint faded away
My feet flow in rhythm
Rock's beat in my brain.
I feel the winds whisper,
By my only defender.
Her boughs arching out,
Needles fresh, green and tender.
Left, right - crossing over
I drive the rock to the rim
Pull up, fake, spin - fade away
My sanctuary. My gym.
Many hours in her shadow.
Thoughts dribbled from my head.
From a seedling to a giant.
Without her watching, I'd be dead.
Focus, flow, I found the rhythm.
Hold it dearly, roots go deep.
My rock and I, we wander onward.
Beneath Cupressus, safe we sleep.
